TOP QUOTE #1
"The round went fairly well," head coach Jay Goble said. "I'm glad that we got to play and get done; they've had some rain delays again this afternoon. I think we had the better draw yesterday morning, and the people playing this afternoon had the better draw because I'm standing outside right now and there's not a breath of wind. This morning, it was windy basically the whole day. So when you see the scores from this morning, everybody played a lot worse than they're playing this afternoon. But again, I think it probably all equals out. We had a good morning yesterday and they have a better afternoon today. In the end, it's all going to work itself out.
TOP QUOTE #2
"Dylan (Kim) played amazing, shooting even-par today in the tougher conditions. Honestly, that was like shooting 5-under. She played great, and I think she's put herself in a good position for the individual title, and she's also helped us stay in the mix and stay where we need to be."
WHAT'S NEXT
Baylor will have to wait for the remaining six teams to finish their third rounds before Monday's fourth-round tee times are known. Third rounds will be resumed at 6:30 a.m. CT Monday, followed by any necessary playoffs to determine the top 15 teams and top nine individuals on non-advancing teams. The fourth and final round of stroke play will begin at 9:50 a.m. CT, and the top eight teams after 72 holes of stroke play will advance to Tuesday's match play quarterfinals and semifinals.
