- Baylor and Oklahoma met for the 55th time, with OU extending a 43-12 lead in the series, including a 19-6 mark in Waco.
- Baylor drops to 0-7 all-time vs. AP No. 1-ranked teams, hosting the nation's top-ranked team for the first time since Jan. 11, 1997 (KU).
