- Baylor and Central Arkansas met for the first time -- BU is 47-13 vs. current Southland Conference teams.
- Baylor has won 12 straight season openers and Scott Drew is 14-1 in openers.
- Baylor has won 44 straight non-conference home games -- the nation's second longest streak (Duke, 132).
- Baylor is one of 12 teams to be nationally ranked in each of the last 10 seasons entering 2017-18.
- Drew is in his 15th season and is Baylor's all-time wins leader (278) -- he is 278-180 at BU and 298-191 overall in 16 seasons as a head coach.

- Baylor set a program record for three-point percentage (70.6, 12-for-17) in a game, breaking the 69.6 percent mark vs. Long Beach State on March 20, 2013 (16-for-23).
- Baylor scored 100 points in regulation vs. a Division I team for the first time since Nov. 23, 2015 -- a 100-61 win over Savannah State.
- Baylor used a 34-13 run from the 13:55 mark of the first half to the 3:50 mark to take a 47-25 lead.

- King McClure made his 12th straight start and scored 15 points for his 14th career game in double figures.
- Manu Lecomte made his third straight start and scored a team-high 22 points for his 47th career game in double figures.
- Lecomte tied a career high with six three-pointers made.
- Terry Maston scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds for his second career double-double. He has scored in double figures 19 times in his career and has two career double figure rebounding games.
- Nuni Omot scored a career-high 15 points for his second career game in double figures.
- Omot set a career high with nine assists.
- Tristan Clark made his Baylor debut and scored 15 points.
- Mark Vital made his Baylor debut and scored six points with five rebounds, six assists and two steals.
