On the win…
"This afternoon was a very ugly win. The will to fight, compete and persevere sustained us enough to have a chance to pull out the victory.
Shelly Fanning was unstoppable throughout the match, and
Tara Wulf has really solidified herself as a top Big 12 libero. Tara's defense and serving was a difference maker, and Shelly was extra creative in how she scored. Their steadiness was clutch. Collectively, we really struggled to play clean the whole afternoon. The timing of the Wednesday bye will be good. I'll always be glad to get a road win in the Big 12."
