No. 4 EQ Hosts No. 5 TCU for Big 12 Home Opener

WACO, Texas – No. 4 Baylor equestrian (3-1, 0-1 Big 12) continues fall Big 12 action with a top-five matchup against No. 5 TCU (1-1) Saturday morning at 11 a.m. CT at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.

Fans can also participate in pony rides and a bounce house during the meet.

The Bears are looking for their first conference win of the season after dropping a tight 11-9 decision to then-No. 7 Oklahoma State on Oct. 13.

The Horned Frogs are 1-1 on the season and claimed a 15-4 victory over Delaware State on Sept. 27. TCU most recently dropped a close 9-8 loss to then-No. 3 Texas A&M in their last outing.

Baylor is 2-1 against TCU under second-year head coach Casie Maxwell. The Bears took the regular season matchups, but the Horned Frogs got a win over BU at the Big 12 Championship.

Baylor heads into the meet with NCEA Shorty's Horsemanship Rider of the Month Abbi Demel who has earned two MOP honors during the Bears' opening weekend at the Willis Invitational.
