- Head Coach Scott Drew won his 301st game at Baylor, exactly 100 more than any coach in program history.
- Baylor moved to 2-0 all-time against South Dakota. and South Dakota. The only previous matchup was a 95-75 Bears win on Dec. 19, 1969, at the Cowboy Classic in Abilene, Texas.
- Baylor is now 31-7 in games against non-Big 12 teams since 2016-17.
- Baylor improves to 142-31 in November/December games under Drew, including 72-14 in November games.
- The Bears are now 73-37 during King McClure's 4-year career and 70-37 in games McClure has played.
- Baylor is 267-128 since 2007-08, the first year Drew's staff had a full allotment of scholarships.
- Baylor is 56-3 in its last 59 non-conference home games dating back to Dec. 12, 2012.

- Baylor closed the game on an 12-0 run (spanning 4:42), highlighted by Makai Mason's 3 with 57 seconds to play to give the Bears their largest lead of the game at 62-57.
- The Bears moved to 5-1 this season and 267-27 in the Drew era when shooting a higher percentage than their opponent.
- Baylor is now 3-0 this season and 110-8 in the Drew era when holding its opponent to less than 60 points.

- Mario Kegler scored 12 points in his Baylor debut to go along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
- It is the 17th time in 33 career D1 games in which Kegler has scored in double-figures.
- Makai Mason (10 points) scored in double-figures for the 4th straight game and the 39th time in his Division I career.
- Mason also dished out a team-high 4 assists and pulled down 4 rebounds.
- Matthew Mayer scored 9 points and pulled down 3 rebounds in 13 minutes of action.
- Tristan Clark notched a career high with 6 blocks to go along with 6 rebounds and 8 points, missing double-figure scoring for just the second time all season.
- Clark is the first BU player with 6 blocks in a game since Jo Lual-Acuil, Jr. had 7 vs. Oklahoma on Feb. 21, 2017.
- Mark Vital pulled down a team-high 9 rebounds and had a team-high 2 steals to go along with 7 points, 2 assists and 2 blocks.
