Bears and Sooners will face off in Friday's nationally-televised match
WACO, Texas – 21st-ranked Baylor volleyball (9-5, 1-2 Big 12) plays its second match in three days as it hosts Oklahoma (9-6, 1-2 Big 12) Friday night at the Ferrell Center.
The 8 p.m. CT matchup will air live on ESPNU with Tyler Denning and Bailey Webster on the call.
Free ice cream sundaes will be given out to the first 200 students at the match.
Baylor looks for its third-straight win over the Sooners in Waco and hopes to extend its winning streak in the series to five straight.
BEARS HOST SOONERS FRIDAY NIGHT ON ESPNU
• Baylor volleyball will return home to host Oklahoma for a Big 12 battle on ESPNU Friday night.
• Baylor looks for its third-straight win over the Sooners at home and fifth overall.
• Last season, the Bears took down the Sooners in four sets in Waco, and then BU rolled in a three-set sweep in Norman.
• The Bears are currently 2-0 in Friday night matches at the Ferrell Center, taking down LSU in the season opener and then-No. 2 Wisconsin on Sept. 7.
• A loss would give BU a 1-3 start in conference play for the first time since the 2015 season. That team finished seventh (5-11) in the Big 12 standings.
• BU looks to avoid a two-match losing streak at home for the first time since the 2016 season. Baylor dropped two five-set matches to Iowa State and No. 4 Kansas in back-to-back home matches.

• Defensively, senior Jana Brusek moved from fifth to third in the Baylor all-time career digs list with 13 digs against the Sooners (5-18, 2-8 Big 12).
• Baylor had won its fourth straight vs. Oklahoma and swept the series for two straight years for the first time since the 2000-01 seasons.
• BU limited Oklahoma to a .108 attack efficiency, improving to 13-0 when opponents hit below .200.
