Men’s Tennis Ready for ITA All-American Championships

Seven Bears ready for championship play in Tulsa
WACO, Texas – Seven Baylor men's tennis players will compete in the 2018 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships, held in Tulsa, Okla., running Sept. 29-Oct. 8.
The University of Tulsa is hosting the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championship for the 13th-straight season, with matches taking place on the courts of the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The pre-qualifying draw starts Saturday and continues through Sunday. Qualifying singles and doubles will be held October 1-2, with main draw matches transpiring between October 4-8.
In singles, No. 33 Johannes Schretter will compete in the main draw while No. 59 – Bjoern Petersen, No. 79 Matias Soto, No. 85 Sven Lah and No. 115 Will Little will start in the qualifying draw. Jimmy Bendeck and Constantin Frantzen will compete in the pre-qualifying draw, set to begin on Saturday, Sept. 29.
In doubles, No. 5 Schretter and Little will play in the main draw while Petersen and Soto and the duo of Bendeck and Lah will begin in the qualifying draw.
Lah and Schretter are coming off a 1-1 singles performance at the Oracle ITA Masters last week, and Lah advanced to the mixed doubles final to finish 4-1 at the event.
