No. 8 EQ Heads to Stillwater to Open Big 12 Play

Bears will face No. 3 Oklahoma State on Friday
WACO, Texas – No. 8 Baylor equestrian (2-1) will open Big 12 play in a top-10 road meet at No. 3 Oklahoma State (2-1) on Friday at 1 p.m. CT at Totusek Arena in Stillwater, Okla.
BU trails the all-time series against Oklahoma State, 24-13, but has won the last two matchups against the Cowgirls. BU closed out the Big 12 regular season with an 11-8 home win against OSU and then defeated the host Cowgirls to win the program's fourth Big 12 title in tiebreaker fashion last March in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State is 2-1 on the season with wins over UT Martin and South Dakota State and its lone loss against No. 1 Auburn.
The Bears are coming off a bye week but previously won their 11th Willis Invitational title with dominant wins over Delaware State and UC Davis on Oct. 4-5. BU is 0-1 in road meets this season after dropping its 2019-20 opener at SMU on Sept. 27.
