- Baylor and West Virginia met for the 17th time in the all-time series. BU is now 10-7 against WVU, including a 4-3 mark in Waco.
- The teams have alternated wins in Waco (BU in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019; WVU in 2014, 2016, 2018).
- Baylor has swept its 3rd season series of the year after previously sweeping Iowa State and Oklahoma.

- Butler (4 assists) posted multiple assists for the 17th consecutive game after doing so in 1 of his first 10 games. He's had 5+ assists in 7 games this season, and Baylor is 6-1 in those games.
- Devonte Bandoo (22 points) scored in double-figures for the 9th time this season and 4th time in the last 5 games.
