- Baylor is 14-14 in 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, including 11-8 in the Scott Drew era.
- Baylor lost in the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time, falling to 4-1 in second-round games under Drew (all since 2010).
- BU is now 2-5 in NCAA Tournament games against higher-seeded teams. Three of the losses were against No. 1 seeds, and two of those went on to win the national championship.
