WACO, Texas – Baylor women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey announced Tuesday the Lady Bears' non-conference schedule for the 2019-20 season, which includes 10 home events, a Thanksgiving Tournament at St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and a trip to face UConn Jan. 9.

The Lady Bears, coming off their third NCAA national championship, will open the schedule with seven-straight home contests, including two exhibitions vs. Langston (Oct. 25) and Lubbock Christian (Oct. 30).

To begin the regular season, Baylor will host New Hampshire Nov. 5 at the Ferrell Center before playing Grambling (Nov. 8), Houston Baptist (Nov. 14), South Florida (Nov. 19) and Lamar Nov. 21.

For Thanksgiving, Baylor will travel to St. Thomas for the Paradise Jam Shootout where they'll face Washington State (Nov. 28), Indiana (Nov. 29) and South Carolina (Nov. 30). The Hoosiers and Gamecocks were each NCAA Tournament teams last season with Indiana reaching the second round and SC reaching the Sweet 16 where Baylor defeated the Gamecocks to advance.

Dec. 4 will feature the first game of the Big 12/SEC Challenge where the Lady Bears will host Georgia. After home contests vs. Arkansas State (Dec. 18) and Morehead State (Dec. 30), Baylor returns to Hartford, Conn. to face UConn, a team that joined Baylor in the Final Four last season.

Baylor defeated UConn Jan. 3, 2018, 68-57, but the Huskies lead the all-time series 4-3.

From there, Baylor will head into its 18-game Big 12 schedule in search of its 10th-straight – 11th overall- regular season title.

Game times and television broadcasts are tentative and will be released at a later date.

Baylor returns 10 players from last year's national championship team while adding a true freshman in Jordyn Oliver and graduate transfers in Te'a Cooper & Erin DeGrate. All players are returning except for Kalani Brown and Chloe Jackson who are playing in the WNBA.
