Bears face 11th-ranked Golden Eagles Sunday in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE – The 17th-ranked Baylor volleyball team will conclude their season-opening road trip at No. 11 Marquette (5-0) Sunday at 1 p.m. CT at the Al McGuire Center in Milwaukee.
Coming off a 3-1 win at No. 4 Wisconsin on Friday, BU looks for back-to-back ranked road wins for the first time in school history.

ANOTHER ROAD MATCH, ANOTHER RANKED TEAM
• Baylor volleyball will conclude its season-opening five-match road trip against 11th-ranked Marquette Sunday in Milwaukee.
• The Bears are 4-0 on the season after neutral site wins over UCLA and then-No. 18 Creighton in Lincoln, Neb. at the Husker Invitational last weekend. Then, the Bears won the HotelRED Invitational this week after a neutral site win over Syracuse and a 3-1 upset over No. 4 Wisconsin in Madison, Wis.
• BU will face Marquette for the second time in program history and for the second consecutive year.
• Under McGuyre, BU earned its highest-ranked road win in program history with a 3-1 victory over No. 4 Wisconsin in Madison on Friday.
• BU looks for the 5-0 start to the season for the ninth time in program history and first time under head coach Ryan McGuyre.
• BU looks for back-to-back ranked road wins for the first time in school history.
• Yossiana Pressley is 12 kills shy of 1,000 career kills.
BAYLOR RECENTLY
• One year after recording its highest-ranked win in program history against the Badgers, No. 17 Baylor posted its biggest road victory with a 3-1 upset over No. 4 Wisconsin Friday at the UW Field House, 21-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-17.
• Friday's road win over the fourth-ranked Badgers (2-2) shatters the previous record set on Dec. 5, 2009. BU upset No. 9 UCLA in Los Angeles in four sets to advance to the NCAA Sweet 16 during that historic win.
• Yossiana Pressley finished the match with 31 kills and 16 digs for her first double-double of the season and 13th of her career.
• Shelly Stafford surpassed 1,000 career kills in the second set and finished with nine in the match for 1,002 kills as a Bear. Hannah Lockin posted her third consecutive double-double with a match-high 51 assists and 12 digs.
BAYLOR TREKS THROUGH HEAVY NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
• Baylor has 14 matches slated against top-25 teams or squads receiving votes in the AVCA preseason poll, but a majority of them are coming in the non-conference slate.
• BU has road matches against No. 4 Wisconsin and No. 11 Marquette and posted a neutral-site win against No. 18 Creighton in the first two weekends.
• BU will travel home to face No. 21 Tennessee at the Baylor Invitational next Saturday and then will turn around and host No. 20 Hawai'i and (RV) Missouri for the Baylor Classic on Sept. 20-22.
• BU will face No. 3 Texas and (RV) TCU twice during Big 12 double round-robin play this season.
LAST TIME VS. MARQUETTE (Aug. 25, 2018)
• In the third match of the 2018 season, BU took down (RV) Marquette in four sets at the Baylor Invitational in Waco, 33-31, 25-27, 25-17, 25-22.
• BU opened the match with its longest set since Nov. 19, 2016 when the Bears needed six set points to convert and take the 33-31 victory.
• With the second set in extra points, Marquette struck back and extended the match with the 27-25 win. Baylor would take the next two sets and win the tournament title behind 10.5 team blocks and a .318 hitting percentage.
• Yossiana Pressley closed out the tournament with another 20-kill match, and Hannah Fluegel (25 assists) and Tara Wulf (20 digs) totaled new career highs.
