Gusters picks up second national recognition of day along with McDAAG nomination

WACO, Texas – Shortly after receiving word that she was a McDonald's All-American Games nomination, Baylor women's basketball 2020 signee Hannah Gusters learned she was placed on the 2020 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy for Girls High School Player of the Year midseason team Tuesday.

The list includes 23 seniors and two juniors, which includes the senior post from Irving MacArthur High School.

The list of 25 narrows to 10 Feb. 4 with finalists announced Feb. 18. The Atlanta Tipoff Club puts on the award and Gusters was one of two Texans along with North Carolina commit Deja Kelly of Duncanville High School to earn a spot.,

Gusters signed with Baylor in November along with high school teammate Sarah Andrews. Both Gusters and Andrews were named nominees for the 2020 McDonald's All-American Games earlier today.
