No. 9 EQ Takes on No. 8 Texas A&M, South Dakota State in College Station

WACO, Texas – No. 9 Baylor equestrian (4-6, 2-3 Big 12) will conclude nonconference action with a quick trip to College Station to face No. 8 Texas A&M (3-6, 2-3 SEC) and South Dakota State (0-7, 0-3 ECAC) on Friday at Hildebrand Equine Complex.

The Bears and Aggies will face off at 9 a.m. while Baylor will take on the Jackrabbits at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Texas A&M leads the all-time series, 13-7, over the Bears while BU holds a perfect 5-0 mark against South Dakota State. Baylor looks to grab its first win over the Aggies since 2015 while the Bears are facing the Jackrabbits for the first time since 2016.

The Bears are looking to build off a 11-8 home win over then-No. 4 Fresno State last weekend. Madison Day, Gia Gulino and Gabrielle Marty earned three of the meet's four MOP honors.

BU looks to win its first road or neutral site meet of the season, coming into Friday's meets with a combined 0-6 record.
