MT's Muza Closes Play at Lakes Invite

Muza played three days in Frisco.

FRISCO, Texas. – Baylor men's tennis player Ethan Muza finished play in the Lakes Collegiate Invitational in Frisco.

Friday's action included Muza playing with OU's Justin Schlageter in doubles against SMU's Caleb Chakravarthi and Liam Krall, falling 8-2. He also played singles against Rice's Wes Barnett, but lost 6-7, 6-1, 7-5.

Muza played with Nathan Han of OU on Saturday and defeated the duo of Wes Barnett and Trinity Grear of Rice, 8-5. In singles, he faced Takeyasu Sekiguchi of Texas Tech, but fell 6-4, 5-7, 6-1.

On Sunday, Muza and OU's Welsh Hotard defeated Texas Tech players Francisco Vittar and Takeyasu Sekiguchi in doubles, 8-6. He also played in a singles match with SMU's Ivan Thamma, and fell 6-3, 6-3.
