SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Baylor's Queen Egbo earned a spot on Friday's finalist list for the Naismith/WBCA Lisa Leslie Award, which honors the nation's top center.

Egbo is averaging 10.3 points and 8.2 rebounds this season. The Houston, Texas, native has 158 blocks in her career, a mark that is seventh in program history.

Egbo is coming off her eighth double-double of the season with 19 points and 16 rebounds in the win over Kansas State. She has pulled down a minimum of 16 boards three times this season, setting a new career high with 21 against Iowa State.

Egbo was in the final 10 for the award as a sophomore and in the final five as a junior.

In March, the committee will declare five finalists, and the winner will be announced on a date to be determined with the other four members of the Naismith/WBCA Starting Five awards.
