FRESNO, Calif. – No. 5 Baylor equestrian (5-6, 2-4) fell to No. 8 Fresno State (6-7, 2-4), 12-6, Friday afternoon at the Student Horse Center in Fresno, Calif.
BU managed to tie in Fences, its lone result in a single event, and entered the break down 6-3. However, a strong second half from the Bulldogs made it difficult to rally.

After the halftime pause, the Bulldogs pulled away with a 3-1 Reining win. Andie Pratt held off the sweep by scoring a 71 to win her point.
Despite three rides above 90 in Flat, BU dropped the final event 3-2. Mitchell (93), Silvestri (91) and Maddie Vorhies (91) contributed to the Baylor tally with career-highs in Flat, but it wouldn't be enough to catch the Bulldogs.
