
MBB Announces 2023-24 Promotions

BU will host a “Gold Out”, “Stripe Out" and “White Out” this season
WACO, Texas – Baylor men's basketball announced an exciting slate of giveaways and promotions for the upcoming home schedule on Monday.
After opening the season on "Future Bears Day" on Nov. 9, BU welcomes in Gardner-Webb for "Salute to Service" day on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 14th, will be "Late Night at the Ferrell" as the Bears host Kansas City in a 9 p.m. tip. The game will be the second leg of a double-header on the heels of the women's game against No. 5 Utah.
Men's basketball summer campers will be invited back for the Nov. 28 contest against Nicholls. Campers will be granted a free ticket if they arrive wearing their summer camp shirt.
The three-game homestand continues with the annual "Holiday Hoops" game against Northwestern State on Saturday, Dec. 2. In addition to a halftime baby race, BU will have an Ugly Christmas t-shirt giveaway.
The homestand closes with "Student Media Mania" against Seton Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. Raffle items will be given out throughout the game, including prizes like headphones and TVs.
The Bears will play the final scheduled game at the Ferrell Center on Friday, Dec. 22, at 6 p.m. in the "Farewell to Ferrell" game. Men's basketball alumni will be in attendance and be recognized in a halftime ceremony.
Foster Pavilion will open with a Tuesday, Jan. 2, contest against Cornell at 7 p.m., followed by the first conference game in the new arena against BYU on Tuesday, Jan. 9. The game against the Cougars will be "Faith and Family Night", featuring the first of eight student t-shirt collector giveaways and student-athlete testimonies.
Baylor's "Go Gold" game will be on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. against Cincinnati. Fans are encouraged to wear gold and will receive gold rally towels in every seat.
The "Immortal 10" will be honored against TCU on Saturday, Jan. 27. In addition to pregame and in-game elements, the Bears will be wearing jerseys featuring the names of the Immortal 10 players. Survivors and cancer fighters will also be recognized in a halftime ceremony in honor of Coaches vs. Cancer.
Baylor men's basketball will celebrate Black History Month on Saturday, Feb. 3, against Iowa State, with a special halftime performance.
BU is asking for fans to "stripe out" Foster as they welcome in Texas Tech on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. Fans will be asked to wear green or gold, depending on what section they are sitting in. A map denoting the sections and corresponding colors will be released closer to the game.
The fifth t-shirt in the collector series will be given away at the Oklahoma game on Feb. 13, followed by the "Autism Speaks" game against Houston on Feb. 24.
The third and final color-out game will be a "white out" game against Kansas on Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m.
The home slate closes with senior day against Texas on Monday, March 4, at 8 p.m. The final t-shirt collector item will be given away, while fans will be encouraged to donate to enter a raffle for a pair of custom Baylor shoes.
