The Bears conclude non-conference play in Florida
WACO, Texas – The No. 10 Baylor women's basketball team returns to action this week at the West Palm Beach Classic in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Bears are set to take on Providence (Wednesday) and South Florida (Thursday) at Keiser University with tip-off set for 2:30 p.m. CT each day.
Both contests are available for streaming via FloHoops while a live radio broadcast will be available on ESPN Central Texas (1660 AM/92.3 FM). Additionally, live in-game updates will be provided via Twitter and live stats.
STARTING FIVE
Wednesday's game between Baylor and Providence will be the first meeting between the two programs. The Friars' meeting with Baylor marks their first game versus a nationally-ranked opponent this season. Olivia Olsen has led the Friars in scoring during eight of the Friars' 11 games this season and has led the team in rebounding seven times. She has scored in double figures a team-best 10 times, including each of the last eight games heading into the West Palm Beach Classic.
Baylor leads the all-time series with South Florida, 4-0, and this will be the first meeting between the two programs at a neutral site. The Bulls' meeting with Baylor marks the third game versus a nationally-ranked opponent this season and second time in three games facing a top-10 foe. USF has two players averaging double figures in Sammie Puisis (21.0) and Vittoria Blasigh (14.3) while Carla Brito leads the Bulls on the boards at 7.4 rebounds per game.

- Senior Sarah Andrews was recognized as the ESPN National Player of the Week on Monday (Dec. 18). It marks the second time in her career the guard has been given a weekly national honor from ESPN.
