The two-time all-conference performer joins the Bears after spending three seasons at Belmont
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's basketball head coach Nicki Collen announced the addition of Madison Bartley to the program on Thursday.
"We are so excited to welcome Madison and her family to the Baylor family," Collen said. "Madison is a winner on the court and in the classroom and is grounded in her faith. On the court, she is a versatile post player who scored consistently around the rim while also stretching the floor to the arc. Off the court, our fans will love getting to know her as she has an incredible passion for people."
A native of Kettering, Ohio, Bartley was a two-time first team all-conference performer at Belmont. In her three seasons with the Bruins, Bartley averaged 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, making 87 appearances for the Bruins. As a senior, the 6-3 forward contributed 14.1 points per game, shooting 51.3% from the floor, while averaging just over five rebounds per contest.
Bartley helped Belmont reach the postseason all three seasons, with back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022. She became the Bruins' 34th 1,000-point scorer in Belmont's WNIT opening-round game against Ball State in March.
Bartley was rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 12 player in the country at her position coming out of Kettering Fairmont High School. She helped her team to a 25-3 record and an OHSAA Regional Final appearance her senior year.
