A&T Qualifies for 14 Event Finals

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced the qualifiers for Individual Event Finals, Baylor qualifying in all but one event.

The event finals will take place on Sunday in the ASRC on the campus of West Liberty, beginning at 10 a.m. CT and streamed on ESPN+.

In 2022, the Bears won the title for Seven-Element Acro and the Inversion Pyramid, both featuring Jordan Gruendler as the top and Bayley Humphrey as the main or mid-level base, along with Brianna Harris in the Open Tumbling Pass.

Qualifiers for event finals are based on highest-scoring performances during Thursday's quarterfinal meets. Ties are broken using each team's season average in the events. The at-large qualifiers are selected by season average among non-qualifying tournament teams.
