Abbreviated squad splits 42 seconds in second meet of the season
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor cross country finished its time at the Texas A&M Invitational with three runners crossing the Dale Watts Cross Country Course finish line within the top 87 spots, split by just 42 seconds.
THE RUNDOWN
Junior Alaina Zamorano led the Bears in 68th place, after putting up a 5,000-meter time of 19:46.4. Less than 10 seconds later, Anna Garner ended her race in 73rd with a 19:54.6 mark.
Abby Morris was the third and final Bear to compete on Friday morning, finishing 87th in 20:28.3.
UP NEXT
Baylor has another week off before traveling to Missouri for the Gans Creek Classic, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Sept. 29.
