COLUMBIA, Mo. – Baylor cross country ran at the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri on Friday morning. For the second time this season, the Bears were led by
Ryan Hodge in the men's race and
Hayden Gold in the women's race.
THE RUNDOWN
In typical form, Hodge finished first for the Bears with an 8,000-meter time of 24:27.3 for 13
th place overall. Junior
Drew Snyder was just behind in 29
th after 24:49.1. After almost a minute,
Devin Duran was next for BU finishing in 82
nd, followed by
Nolan Keenan in 99
th,
Straton Miller in 109
th,
Aiden Ramshaw in 110
th and
Caleb Ackman in 148
th.
With the first five finishers counting towards the team score, the men's squad finished 10
th out of 20 teams. `
For the women's race, junior Gold led Baylor once again in 91
st place with a 6,000-meter time of 23.02.7.
Jackie Addy was No. 2 for BU in 111
th, followed by
Chloe Gangnath in 126
th,
Rosanna Pugh in 132
nd,
Jordan Ledington in 186
th and
Kat Helmer in 202
nd.
The women's team tabbed 21
st in Friday morning's competition.
