XC Men Tab Top-10 Team Finish at Gans Creek Classic

Hodge leads Baylor men in 13th
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Baylor cross country ran at the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri on Friday morning. For the second time this season, the Bears were led by Ryan Hodge in the men's race and Hayden Gold in the women's race.
THE RUNDOWN
In typical form, Hodge finished first for the Bears with an 8,000-meter time of 24:27.3 for 13th place overall. Junior Drew Snyder was just behind in 29th after 24:49.1. After almost a minute, Devin Duran was next for BU finishing in 82nd, followed by Nolan Keenan in 99th, Straton Miller in 109th, Aiden Ramshaw in 110th and Caleb Ackman in 148th.
With the first five finishers counting towards the team score, the men's squad finished 10th out of 20 teams. `
For the women's race, junior Gold led Baylor once again in 91st place with a 6,000-meter time of 23.02.7. Jackie Addy was No. 2 for BU in 111th, followed by Chloe Gangnath in 126th, Rosanna Pugh in 132nd, Jordan Ledington in 186th and Kat Helmer in 202nd.
The women's team tabbed 21st in Friday morning's competition.

The Bears have one final regular season race at Texas A&M's Arturo Barrios Invitational before heading to Ames, Iowa, for the Big 12 Cross Country Championships on October 28th.
