Libero recorded second double-double to start conference play
WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball's Lauren Briseño has earned her second Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week award, announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Briseño earns her second career accolade after helping the now-No. 14 Bears start conference 2-0 by defeating both Arizona and then-No. 14 Arizona State in four sets.
Against the Wildcats, the senior recorded 17 digs. Against ASU, she recorded her second double-double of her career with 21 digs and 10 assists. It was also the second time this season she's had more than 20 digs in a match.
