McGhee Earns Big 12 VB Offensive Player of the Week

Outside hitter raked in 37 kills
WACO, Texas – Elise McGhee of No. 17 Baylor volleyball earned the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week accolade, announced Tuesday by the Conference.
McGhee, a senior outside hitter from San Antonio, raked in 37 kills for the week, helping the Bears win in four sets against Iowa State and sweep Colorado.
She brought in 24 kills against the Buffaloes, good enough for fourth-most in a three-set match for a Baylor player in program history.
McGhee had a .295 hitting percentage for the week with a league-leading 6.0 points per set.
In addition to her kills, McGhee had three aces against the Cyclones and had two blocks in each match.
This is McGhee's third-career weekly honor and her second Offensive Player of the Week nod from the Big 12.

The Bears take a road trip to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech on November 6 at 7 p.m. before returning to the Ferrell Center on November 9 to face UCF for a matinee match at 1 p.m.
