Bears looking to continue Horsemanship performance
WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian (2-7, 1-3) heads to California for back-to-back meets Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16-17, against Fresno State (1-7, 0-5) and UC Davis (3-4).
The Bears will saddle up for 1 p.m. matchup against the Bulldogs on Friday followed by an 11 a.m. faceoff against the Aggies on Saturday.
BU returns to action after a tough 12-6 loss to No. 7 Oklahoma State last Friday. Lauren Reid continued her standout performance, tallying a point in Fences and Flat to remain undefeated in Big 12 play.
Baylor holds an 18-7 advantage over Fresno State in the all-time series. The two last faced off Nov. 2, 2023, as the Bears narrowly defeated the Bulldogs in a raw-score tiebreaker 9-9 (1613.5-1609.5). Live scoring will be provided by Fresno State and can be found here.
BU leads UC Davis 2-0 in the all-time series. Their last matchup came in 2022 as the Bears cruised to a 13-7 victory.
Following the meets, Baylor returns home for its final meet of the season against No. 1 TCU (9-0, 4-0) on Friday, March 1 at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
