FRESNO, Calif. – Baylor (2-8, 1-4) fell to Fresno State (2-7, 1-5), 11-6, Friday afternoon at the Student Horse Center.
BU needed a comeback early after dropping Fences 4-0. Over in the western arena, Horsemanship claimed its second-consecutive win to make it 6-3 at the break. The Bears tied Flat 2-2, but Fresno State closed it out with a 3-1 win in Reining.
BU continued its strong Horsemanship performance, taking the event 3-2. Elsie Naruszewicz (77.5), Gianna Pozzi (75) and Alexis Rutledge (75.5) added to the tally.
Madison Mitchell (87) and Lauren Reid (79) scratched two Flat points on the board.
Sadie Peters scored the sole Reining point for the Bears with a 69.5.
