Baylor faces pair of ranked opponents in tough road trip
WACO, Texas – The No. 31 Baylor women's tennis team is Utah-bound, facing off with the No. 51-ranked BYU Cougars on Thursday at 2 p.m. CT, before returning to Texas to play the No. 25-ranked Texas Tech Lady Raiders on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT.

ABOUT THE BEARS
Baylor (15-6, 7-1) is headed to Provo with just one conference loss and on a two-match win streak after a thrilling 4-3 win over Kansas at home on Sunday. The Bears erased a 3-0 deficit to come back and secure the victory. Miska Kadleckova continues to dominate on the top court for BU, sitting at 14-2 on the year in singles play with a 7-1 mark in league action. Meanwhile, Isabella Harvison has pieced together a nine-match win streak in singles with an 11-3 record on the year.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
BYU is 4-3 in conference play, coming off of back-to-back, 5-2, road losses at Kansas and Texas Tech. The Cougars are led by No. 87 Bobo Huang at the No. 1 position, who is 11-3 this season, and 4-3 on court one in Big 12 matches. Emilee Astle is a perfect 5-0 on court six for the Cougars while the doubles team of Tina Li and Kara Wheatley are undefeated (6-0) in conference play.
ABOUT THE LADY RAIDERS
Texas Tech (13-5, 6-1) is on a four-game win streak with the team's only loss in conference play coming at the hands of top-ranked Oklahoma State. Coming off of a 5-2 victory over BYU, the Lady Raiders also have a match against No. 54 TCU scheduled for Thursday. The Lady Raiders are led into battle by No. 55 Cristina Tiglea, who is 5-1 in the conference, and 9-5 against nationally ranked opponents.
