Fourth-seeded Bears to face top-seeded TCU on Friday
WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian (2-10, 1-5) is set to host the 2024 Big 12 Championship this weekend at the Willis Family Equestrian Center, running March 29-30.
Fourth-seeded BU will face top-seeded and No. 1-ranked TCU (11-1, 6-0) on Friday at 10 a.m., while No. 2 seed and seventh-ranked Oklahoma State (6-6, 4-2) squares off against third-seeded Fresno State (3-8, 1-5) simultaneously.
Friday's winners will advance to Saturday's final, which is set to begin immediately following a consolation meet between the two non-advancing teams, starting at 9:30 a.m.

In last season's Big 12 Championship, the Bears fell 12-8 to OSU, but charged back with a 16-4 defeat of Fresno State in the consolation meet to claim third place.
Baylor dropped both regular-season contests to TCU this year, including a 14-6 defeat in Burleson on Nov. 10, then fell 12-7 in Waco on March 1.
Bears fell to the Cowgirls in both regular-season matchups, dropping a tight 10-8 contest in Waco on Oct. 13, then suffered a 12-6 defeat on the road in Stillwater on Feb. 9.
BU split the series with FS, claiming a 9-9 raw-score tiebreaker in Waco on Nov. 2, then suffering an 11-6 defeat in California on Feb. 16.
Baylor is looking to carry its momentum in the Flat ring into the postseason. Behind Lauren Reid's five consecutive points, BU claimed the event in its last two outings.
Four Bears boast a winning conference record heading into this weekend, including Madison Mitchell (Flat, 4-2), Sadie Peters (Reining, 3-1-1), Reid (Fences, 3-1-1; Flat, 5-1) and Dominika Silvestri (Fences, 3-1-1).
