MBB Adds Dubravcic for the 2024-25 season

The Croatian big man brings international experience to the BU roster
WACO, Texas – Baylor men's basketball bolstered its front court Friday with the addition of 6-foot-10 big man, Marino Dubravčić.
The Split, Croatia, native has international experience including a solid showing at the FIBA U18 European Championship in 2022 where he averaged 6.7 points and 3.9 rebounds across seven games for Croatia. His high-water mark in the event was a 12-point, eight-rebound performance against North Macedonia.
"Marino is someone who brings international experience to our roster," head coach Scott Drew said. "He gives us some added depth in the post and will be a great teammate. We are excited to have him join us this season."
The Croatian joins one of the highest-ranked recruiting classes in the nation in V.J. Edgecombe, Rob Wright and Jason Asemota. Additionally, BU has added three graduate transfers in Cal guard, Jalen Celestine, Miami forward Norchad Omier and former Duke guard Jeremy Roach.
