
VB Has Two Tabbed Preseason All-Big 12

Bears Briseño and McGhee honored
WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball's Lauren Briseño and Elise McGhee have each earned a Preseason All-Big 12 nod from the league's coaches, announced Wednesday.
The Bears' two student-athletes are entering their senior seasons with the program.
Baylor's starting libero, Briseño looks to enter the top five for career rally-scoring service aces this season for BU, finishing her junior campaign with 66 for her career and needing 15 to become fifth all-time. She's also just 63 digs away from recording the 1000th of her career.
Returning at outside hitter, McGhee is on track to register her 750th kill this season. She the Bears' leading scorer headed into her senior campaign.
Both natives of San Antonio, McGhee was named All-Big 12 First Team following the 2023 season while Briseño was named Second Team.
Baylor was voted to finish fifth in the Big 12 for the 2024 season, as voted on by the league's coaches.

The Bears will host 19 home matches, including three non-conference tournaments, starting on August 30 with Abilene Christian.
