Bears face Ducks for first time this season
EUGENE, Ore. – The top-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team is set to take on No. 4 Oregon on the road at Matthew Knight Arena on Saturday night in Eugene. The teams will take the mats at 6 p.m. CT.
Saturday's meet will be the first of two between the Bears (2-0) and the Ducks (1-0), the second being at home at the Ferrell Center on April 5. This is the second top-five meet of the season for BU, having faced No. 5 UMHB to open the season.

Baylor is 106-23 all-time as a program and 97-2 under 11th-year head coach Felecia Mulkey. The record between BU and UO is in the Bears' favor at 25-13.

BU is coming off a 40+ point win over No. 14 LIU on February 15, where the Bears didn't drop a heat to the Sharks. The meet started with a 16.54-point start value advantage in Baylor's favor.Â

The Ducks are heading into just their second meet of the season after facing first-year squad Morgan State on February 15. Oregon came out on top with a 281.205 – 256.145 decision over the Bears.Â

The last time BU and UO met was in the 2024 NCATA Championship run, Baylor taking the semifinal win over the Ducks in Fairmont, W.Va., 267.995 – 260.470.Â
