Students in Grades 2-7 invited to participate in basketball clinic
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's basketball announced the return of the Play4Kay Clinic for the 2025 season, held for the first time at Foster Pavilion on February 20 from 6-7 p.m. CT. Registration for the event is now open at BaylorBears.com.
The clinic will offer participants a chance to engage in fun, skill-building basketball activities while supporting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Every clinic attendee will receive a free t-shirt and a ticket to the annual Play4Kay game against Iowa State on Saturday, February 22. The Baylor Athletics Ticket Office will also be available on-site to assist family members, guardians and others in purchasing tickets for the game.
Registration to the clinic is free, but a $10 donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund is encouraged at the clinic.
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was officially founded on December 3, 2007, from the vision of the organization's namesake, Kay Yow, former NC State University head women's basketball coach. Coach Yow was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987 before succumbing to the disease on January 24, 2009. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to raising money for life-saving cancer research, underserved programs that provide access to quality cancer healthcare, and uniting people in the fight against all cancers affecting women. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund has awarded $8.78 million in the fight against all cancers affecting women. For more information on the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, or to donate, please visit KayYow.com.
Baylor women's basketball is presented by Central National Bank, a family-owned, independent bank headquartered in Waco, Texas, that provides uniquely personal service while simultaneously embracing the latest developments in banking technology.
