EQ Student-Athletes Earn NCEA’s APHA All-Academic Honors

Bears have 16 on All-Academic Teams, 31 on Honor Roll
WACO, Texas – Baylor Equestrian garnered 47 selections to the 2025 National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) APHA All-Academic Teams and Academic Honor Roll, as announced Thursday afternoon.
This is the most honorees Baylor has had since 2021.
Riley Cachat, Juliette Earley, Lauren Jorgensen, Madison Mitchell, Emily Moomaw, Kalena Reynolds, Taylor Smith and Nadalee Vasquez were all named to the APHA All-Academic First Team, while Bella Hehr, Gianna Pozzi, Alexis Rutledge and Lauren Stebbins earned spots on the second team.
Additionally, Emma Covarrubias, Sadie Peters, Lauren Reid and Anna Thron earned spots on the Honorable Mention list while 31 athletes earned spots on the NCEA All-Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for first-team, members needed to compete in a minimum of 70 percent of their school's meets and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters.
For second-team eligibility, members must have competed in at least 60 percent of their school's meets and earned a GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters.
Student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters were eligible for the Honor Roll.

The Bears finished their 2024-2025 season with a 5-7 record, including a 2-4 record in conference play.
