Pole vaulter Molly Haywood earns gold
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor track and field finished its final day at the Texas A&M 44 Farms Invitational at the E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station.
Sophomore pole vaulter Molly Haywood earned a 15-1/4 mark to earn the gold medal. Haywood also broke the meet (14-3 ½) and facility (14-10 ¾) record set in 2024 and 2021 respectively.
THE RUNDOWN
Starting the day off in the Women's Heptathlon and Men's Decathlon, Baylor earned one gold in an event, two new PRs and a top 5 finish. Freshman multi Dexter Brice earned a first-place finish in the pole vault event for the decathlon while getting a new PR at the 16-3/4 mark.
Freshman multi Logan Todorovich earned a top-5 finish with a 20-2 ¼ mark while, freshman multi Shaye Feely earned a new PR at 17-4 ¾ in the long jump event.
Heading into field events, Haywood vaulted for the gold. Haywood earned a 15-1/4 mark to break Texas A&M's Heather Adbadie's (14-3 1/2) meet record set last year and Arkansas' Nastassja Campbell's (14-10 3/4) facility record set in 2021. Senior pole vaulter Tenly Kuhn earned the bronze medal with a 14-6 ¼ mark.

Baylor looks to host the Michael Johnson Invitational at the Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium on April 18-19.
