The Bears captured two events won in the men's 110-meter hurdles and the 4x400 relay. Baylor also recognized its 25 seniors for the class of 2025 on Saturday morning.

Both marks rank inside the top-20 in the NCAA this season. Freshman Hannah Lowe grabbed a PR of 11.38 (1.6 m/s) to take fourth place. Senior Michaela Francois ran her final race at Baylor with an 11.45 (0.3 m/s) time to finish sixth.

MIKE ON THE MIC
"Day two of MJ," said head coach Michael Ford. "Great, great second day. The weather held off and the rain didn't come so I was very happy with that. We had a great crowd, a lot of fans came to support the Bears in our last home meet. Just wanted to give a big thank you to our 25 seniors. They meant the world to me on and off the track, so I'm definitely going to miss them, but I was glad that we got to honor them like we did.
Overall, the track meet went well. The ladies started off with the 4x100 with a season best, No. 2 all time in school history. Those young ladies did a great job getting the stick around. I think we still got some room to improve.
Then I also look at the Demario Prince in his first race back in almost two years. He didn't run last year in the outdoor due to an injury and surgery so him to run two races, run a PB and then 42 high hurdles was a great, great meet for Demario. Laurenz Colbert had a great relay. Nate had a great relay on 4x400. The men did well on a 4x400.
I thought the ladies with Alexis, Tiriah and Hannah put together and even Michaela put together some good times in the 100m. I think a lot of PRs were raised and then overall the distance group did another fantastic job getting 800s today. Iyann Webb had a good performance today in triple jump.
Overall, we had had a solid meet. Got to get some kids healthy getting ready to go to UCF and Texas A&M before we get ready for championship weekend, but overall very happy with how the meet went. Looking forward to next year hosting maybe two to three meets next year, but overall very pleased with the group and the effort and hope everybody has a happy Easter."
