IRVING, Texas – After hosting the 2025 Big 12 Tennis Championship, Baylor men's tennis captured four spots in the 2025 Big 12 All-Tournament Team with
Oskar Brostrom Poulsen and
Alexandru Chirita in singles and doubles pairs of
Marko Miladinovic and Brostrom Poulsen along with
Devin Badenhorst and
Luc Koenig.
In singles, Baylor was the only represented team besides the Big 12 Champions of Arizona. Brostrom Poulsen, selected for Court Three, defeated Arizona State's Dimic 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 in the quarterfinals to help advance the Bears. In the semifinals against Arizona, the Denmark native faced off against No. 99 Ludoski, nearly capturing a win before going unfinished, 7-5, 3-6, 5-4.
Selected on Court Four, Chirita nearly defeated ASU's Povey in straight sets with an unfinished match of 7-5, 5-5. Against Arizona, Chirita was the lone Bear to put a point on the board in singles with his defeat of Gustafsson 6-2, 1-6, 7-5.
In doubles, the No. 21 duo of Brostrom Poulsen and Miladinovic went undefeated on the weekend against two ranked opponents. The duo took Court One against ASU's 37
th-ranked Artnak and Phillips 6-3 and against Arizona's 29
th-ranked Cabrera-Bello and Smith in a dominant 6-1 match.
Sharing Court Two with Arizona's Friend and Padgham, Badenhorst and Koenig's match against ASU went unfinished with a near win at 5-4. The two went on to defeat No. 62 Friend and Padgham 6-4 in the semifinals. Overall, Baylor went undefeated in doubles in the Big 12 Championship.

BU awaits to see where its postseason will continue Monday, April 28, where the Bears will find out which NCAA Regional site they'll be slated to. Baylor is set to host the NCAA Team Championships at the Hurd Tennis Center from May 15-18.
