Started the spring with a 7-1 singles record and 8-1 doubles record … 11-6 with Badenhorst in doubles play, 12 of those matchups played on court two … Held a singles win streak of five matches won in the spring, seven-straight in doubles.

2022-23 (Freshman)

Joined the Bears to begin the 2023 spring semester ... Went 9-8 in singles in dual matches while gaining experience at courts 2-6. Edned the season with four-straight singles wins, including an unfinished bout against 63rd-ranked Sebastian Gorzny from TCU, 5-7, 3-2, in Big 12 play ... Opened the season with Ethan Muza in doubles with a 4-8 record ... Finished out non-conference play with Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi at 5-2 ... Went 1-1 in Big 12 play at court three doubles with Christopher Frantzen including a 5-5 unfinished desicion with Zsombor Velcz against No. 1 Texas’ Woldeab/Bailly.

Prep Career
Joined the Bears after a distinguished prep career ... Had a Universal Tennis Rating in singles of 13.19 and career-high ATP ranks of 1591 in singles and 1134 in doubles ... In juniors play, made his way to a high ranking of 149 ... Tallied five junior singles titles on the ITF circuit, most recently at the J3 Johannesburg in 2022 ... In doubles play, he and partner Devin Badenhorst - a Baylor signee - tabbed two titles at the J4 Pretoria and J5 Durban.
