Bears Look for Another Win Against Cougars
WACO, Texas – The top-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team hits the road this week to take on No. 10 Azusa Pacific on Friday at 8 p.m. CT at the Felix Event Center in Azusa, California.
Baylor begins the season ranked No. 1 in the NCATA preseason poll for the 11th straight year and looks to build on that momentum as it continues its title defense against the Cougars. The Bears hold a 10-4 advantage in the all-time series with Azusa Pacific and boast an impressive 117-23 record in program history.
The Bears also earned national recognition this week, as Payton Washington was named NCATA Athlete of the Week. Mo Arthur collected Freshman of the Week honors, while Emily Bott received an Honorable Mention for Specialist of the Week.
