Game notes:
• Baylor is in West Texas on Wednesday night to take on 20th‑ranked Texas Tech at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT and the game will stream live on ESPN+ and the Baylor Sports Media Network.
• The Bears meet the Lady Raiders for the 105th time in program history. Baylor has won 31 of the last 32 matchups and held the streak until TTU broke it with a one‑point win in this season's first conference meeting.
• BU leads the Big 12 in blocks per game (6.5, No. 3 nationally) and three‑point percentage defense (25.0%, No. 3 nationally) and holds top‑three league marks in field goal percentage defense, defensive rebounds per game, rebounds per game, scoring defense and winning percentage.
• At 22-5 overall, Baylor is ranked No. 15 in the AP Top 25 and No. 14 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll. It is the Bears' 22nd straight AP ranking and their 363rd over the last 20 seasons, the second most in that span behind UConn.
• BU is chasing its 14th Big 12 regular‑season title and enters the game tied for the league lead with TCU, half a game ahead of West Virginia and one game in front of Texas Tech.
• Through games on Feb. 16, Baylor is ranked No. 28 in the NET.
• The Bears are 3-4 against Quadrant 1 opponents, with BU's top win coming against Duke in Paris to open the season.
• Baylor bounced back with a 30‑point road win at UCF, beating the Knights 93-63 behind a 59.3 percent shooting performance, the Bears' highest mark in conference play under Nicki Collen and the 11th-highest conference shooting percentage for BU since 2000, which included a 9-of-18 effort from three.
• Taliah Scott scored 21 first‑half points on just eight field goal attempts and finished with 26, including three made from beyond the arc.
• Four other Bears reached double figures. Kayla Nelms scored 12, Bella Fontleroy added 11 and both Darianna Littlepage-Buggs and Jana Van Gytenbeek finished with 10.
• Van Gytenbeek recorded her second career double‑double with 11 assists to go with her 10 points.
• It was the first time in Big 12 play this season that Baylor had five players in double figures and the second time overall, following six in double figures against Southeastern Louisiana. All 12 available players not only played but scored, contributing to 30 bench points, the third‑highest total of the season.
• Taliah Scott was named to the Big 12 Starting Five after her 24.0 ppg week that featured her 1,000th career point against TCU.
• Scott reached the 1,000-point milestone in her 48th career game, averaging 21.1 points per game at the time.
• Scott was also added to the 2026 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Late-Season Team, as one of three Big 12 players mentioned and one of 11 underclassmen on the 30-player watchlist.
