Game notes:
• For the second consecutive season, Baylor will play on the final day of the regular season for a chance at a share of the Big 12 regular season title against TCU. The game will be live from Fort Worth at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN and the Baylor Sports Media Network after ESPN's College GameDay Covered by State Farm kicks off the day's coverage from 10 to 11 a.m.
• The Bears and Horned Frogs meet for the 57th time in the all-time series. TCU claimed each of the last four meetings after snapping a 37-game winning streak for BU that began in 1991.
• At 24-6 overall, Baylor is ranked No. 18 in the AP Top 25 and No. 16 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll. It marks the Bears' 23rd straight AP ranking and their 364th in the last 20 seasons, the second most in that span behind UConn.
• Baylor leads the Big 12 in blocks per game (6.3) and 3-point percentage defense (25.2). The Bears also rank in the top three in field goal percentage defense (No. 2), rebounds per game (No. 2), defensive rebounds per game (No. 2) and winning percentage (No. 2).
• BU has secured at least a top-three seed in the 2026 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament, receiving a double bye to not begin the draw until Friday's quarterfinal round.
• Baylor and TCU's season-ending matchup in Fort Worth on March 1 was selected for ESPN's College GameDay Covered by State Farm.
• The show will air live on ESPN from TCU's Schollmaier Arena beginning at 10 a.m. CT and will also stream on the ESPN App and Disney+.
• It marks the Big 12's first College GameDay appearance for women's basketball and the first for the Bears.
• The show is one of five on the road this season and is hosted by Christine Williamson, Andraya Carter and Chiney Ogwumike.
• Baylor's hot shooting night fueled a 26-point win over Kansas State in Waco, 80-54. BU never trailed in its final regular-season home game of 2025-26.
• Shooting 52.6% from the field and 50% from deep, the Bears were led by Taliah Scott's five triples for 20 points, followed by Bella Fontleroy's four 3-pointers on her way to 16. Darianna Littlepage-Buggs rounded out the double-figure scoring with 10 points paired with 11 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season.
• Baylor's 13 made 3-pointers were its second-most in a game this season and its most in Big 12 play.
• Up nine at halftime, Baylor pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring K-State 25-14 with seven made 3-pointers on nine total baskets, shooting 58.3% from beyond the arc in the period. The seven triples were BU's most in a quarter this season, surpassing the previous mark of six achieved twice.
• 22 of the Bears' points came off the bench, led by Marcayla Johnson's nine, which included another triple for the second straight game and marked her second career streak of games with a made 3-pointer.
• Down to one game remaining in the regular season, Baylor has secured at least a No. 3 seed in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament.
• Counting this year, the Bears have been a top-3 seed in three of coach Nicki Collen's five seasons at the helm of the program and 19 times since 1997.
• BU has advanced to the title game 16 times, the last coming last season after defeating seventh-seeded Iowa State and third-seeded Oklahoma State.
• The Bears are 11-time tournament champions, last claiming the title in 2021 after downing second-seeded West Virginia by 26 points in the final.
