Carr is one of 10 players named to the Jerry West Award Midseason Watch List and is one of five Big 12 Conference players on the listing. The award will be narrowed to five players in March, and the winner will be selected from the five finalists and announced following the season.
Carr joins Big 12 brethren including Brayden Burres (Arizona), Richie Saunders (BYU), Emanuel Sharp (Houston) and Darryn Peterson (Kansas) on the top-10 list.
Fans can participate in voting, starting on Feb. 6 on HoopHallAwards.com, with the fan vote counting as one committee vote during the finalist selection process.
