Bears and Horned Frogs battle at the top of the Big 12 on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT
WACO, Texas – Baylor Athletics has announced the promotional lineup for No. 15 Baylor women's basketball's marquee matchup with No. 14 TCU on Thursday evening at the top of the Big 12 Conference standings. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT from the Banks of the Brazos River and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
The contest is the annual Go Gold game, presented by Magnolia Realty, and fans are encouraged to wear their best University Gold to Foster Pavilion. This game will feature pregame entertainment from nationally recognized magician Carl Michael, student shuttle buses, gold jersey giveaways and concession specials throughout the night.
The Go Gold ticket package, available in sections 102, 114 and 115 for $33, includes a gold replica jersey with the purchase. Upper bowl tickets are also available for $5 by using the specific ticket link.
To build the pregame energy on campus, two student buses running from outside Penland Dining Hall will begin shuttling students to and from Foster Pavilion 90 minutes before tipoff at 4:30 p.m.
Upon entering the arena, the first 1,500 fans will receive free gold poms. Students who arrive early can also secure one of 500 free replica gold jerseys, including 24 randomly autographed by Baylor players.
Award‑winning magician Carl Michael will headline pregame entertainment beginning at 5:15 p.m. on the south concourse behind sections 103 and 104, showcasing a blend of storytelling, mentalism and close‑up illusions. His nationwide appearances include shows for MLB and NFL organizations and NCAA programs, along with entertainment at major events like NASCAR races, the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and PGA Tour stops. Michael's work has been featured broadly across national media, including The Pat McAfee Show, The NIL House, TMZ, ESPN, Barstool Sports, Brinx TV and America's Got Talent.
Early arrivals can also keep an eye out for one of five Golden Tickets hidden in arena seating. Each Golden Ticket can be redeemed at Bear Fuel 270 on the east side of the arena for a souvenir cup, one hot dog, one order of fries and one candy item, courtesy of Baylor Athletics.
Those wearing gold can take advantage of a concession discount throughout the concourse, where hot dogs will be reduced to $2 with a limit of two per transaction. To qualify, the primary or base color of the shirt must be gold—shirts with only gold accents, logos or trim do not qualify for the promotion.
Students can enjoy a Student Happy Hour from the time doors open until tipoff, with half‑price hot dogs, pizza, water and soft drinks with a valid Baylor ID.
Baylor women's basketball is presented by Central National Bank, a family-owned, independent bank headquartered in Waco, Texas, that provides uniquely personal service while simultaneously embracing the latest developments in banking technology.
