WACO, Texas – No. 47 Baylor women's tennis hits the road this weekend to continue Big 12 play, traveling to face Cincinnati on Friday at 11 a.m. CT and finishing the trip at West Virginia on Sunday at 9 a.m. CT.
Baylor enters the weekend looking to build momentum away from home after a 1-1 start in conference competition last weekend against Arizona and Arizona State.
Facing the Bearcats on Friday morning, the Bears will look to continue the series sweep over Cincinnati after taking matches in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons since the new conference foes joined the league. The Bearcats are off to a 6-3 start with a 1-1 mark in conference play after downing Kansas State and falling to Oklahoma State.
Two days later in West Virginia, the Bears roll into Morgantown looking for a win over a Mountaineer squad that has begun conference play 0-2 against Oklahoma State and K-State before a bout with TCU on Friday afternoon.
The Bears' Na Dong jumped 29 spots from No. 73 to No. 44 in the singles rankings along with Zuzanna Kubacha rising ten spots to No. 100. Cincinnati and West Virginia do not field a ranked singles or doubles court.
Live stats (Cincy / WVU) and live video (Cincy / WVU) will be available online for both matches.
