
WT Dominates Cincinnati, 4-0

WACO, Texas – No. 47 Baylor women's tennis (6-4) defeated Cincinnati (6-3) on the road in a quick 4-0 decision. The win was Baylor's second 4-0 road sweep of the 2025-26 campaign and its first of Big 12 Conference play.
THE RUNDOWN
Doubles featured the first and only court that fell to Cincinnati in the Queen City, as Kennedy Gibbs and Mu-Jie Teng lost to Gabrielle Guenther and Tara Kurepa 6-2. Baylor responded quickly with Na Dong and Alian Zack taking the victory over Milicia Popovski and Anastasija Arsic, 6-2.
All eyes turned to Zuzanna Kubacha and Gabrielle Villegas on Court One, who took the match to a tiebreak before pulling out the win over Sakurako Watanabe and Rozalia Grusczynska 7-6 (3).
Singles started with Mu-Jie Tzeng winning in a decisive 6-0, 6-2 victory, her fourth in the last five matches. She was followed closely by Kubacha, who dominated Rozalia Gruszczynska 6-0, 6-4.
Dong secured the victory for the Bears with her sixth straight singles win, defeating Gabrielle Guenther 6-1, 6-4.
On the unfinished courts, Zack had a 1-0 lead in the third set, Gibbs was down 1-0 in the third and Luna Ivkovic's second set was knotted at 5-each after dropping the first.
