Bears aiming for 11th-consecutive NCATA national championship
AZUSA, California – The No. 1-ranked Baylor Bears hit the road to take on the No. 8-ranked Duquesne Dukes in the NCATA National Championship Quarterfinals on Thursday, April 23, at 9 p.m. CT, hosted at the Felix Events Center in Azusa, California.
BU (8-0) is set to face Duquesne (3-3) for the second time this season, and only the fourth time overall.
The Bears enter the Championships ranked No. 1 in the NCATA National Rankings for the 11th straight year, all under head coach Felecia Mulkey. They are looking to carry that success into the championship, where they are 14-1 in the Quarterfinal round of the NCATA National Championships. They are 33-4 all-time in all rounds of the championship.
Baylor enters the Championship after finishing the regular season undefeated for the fifth year in a row.
