Bears bout Golden Eagles Sunday night
TULSA, Okla. – The 17th-ranked Baylor soccer team finishes its non-conference schedule Sunday at the Case Soccer Complex, facing Oral Roberts at 7 p.m. CT. The game will stream live on the Summit League Network.
Baylor enters Sunday's match on a four-match winning streak at 6-1, picking up a top-10 win to open the season against Arkansas before its lone setback of 2026 at home against Texas State, a squad that's worked its way up to No. 15 in the Coaches Poll.
Sunday's match will be the third all-time between the two programs, who last faced off 12 years ago. The first game of the series, a resounding 5-0 win for BU in 1997, is the lone victory for the Bears over ORU ahead of 2014's 0-0 draw that outlasted two additional overtime periods.
Oral Roberts welcomes Baylor to Tulsa unbeaten at 6-0-2, finding draws against both North Texas and Oklahoma and fresh off a 2-0 victory over Tulsa to claim the Mayor's Cup at home.
Brianna Castleberry's seven goals in eight matches pace the Golden Eagle roster with a team-high 26 shots and 16 shots on goal, while Cameron Silva has connected on six assists.
Bears Lauren Omholt and Grace White lead the scoring effort with three each, followed closely by Theresa McCullough, Callie Conrad and Aryanna Jimison, who picked up her second goal of the season Thursday night off a free kick just high of the penalty box. McCullough continues to lead the squad in assists with four.
Fifth-year keeper Azul Alvarez continues to find her home in the Baylor goal, playing all 630 minutes this season with a 1.00 GAA after picking up her second consecutive clean sheet.
