Also helped 4x1 squad place second at the Michael Johnson Invitational with a season-best time of 39.32... Placed eighth in the 100 meters at the Michael Johnson Invitational with a time of 10.73... Season-best 100-meter time of 10.58 was the 14th-best time in the prelims at the Big 12 Championship... Recorded three top-eight finishes in the 200 meters, placing eighth at the Roadrunner Invitational (season-best 21.37), third at the Baylor Invitational (22.29), and sixth at the Michael Johnson Invitational (21.60).

2018 Indoor: Ran a season-best time of 6.80 in the 60 meters at the Texas Tech Corky Classic, finishing 14th... Placed 12th in the 60 meters at the Power Five Invitational with a time of 6.97... Season-best 200-meter time of 22.00 came at the Texas Tech Corky Classic, good for a 10th-place finish... Placed eighth in the 200 meters at the Texas A&M Quadrangular with a time of 22.13.

2017: Ran 60 meters and 200 meters events at five indoor meets…Ran a season-best 6.95 in the preliminary round at the Texas A&M Team Invitational in the 60 meters… Recorded a 7.00 time in the preliminary round at the Big 12 Indoor Championship…Ran a season-best 21.67 in the 200 meters at the Big 12 Indoor Championship to place 11th in preliminary rounds… Participated in six outdoor meets, running in the 100 meters and 200 meters…Posted a personal-best seventh place finish at the Red Raider Shootout, running a 10.74 in the 100 meters…Earned two fifth-place finishes in the 200 meters, most recently running 21.24 at the Red Raider Shootout...Earned Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team honors and received USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition.

Personal: Parents are Thomas and Sharon Braxton...Has one brother, Julian...Major is exercise physiology.
