2006-07 [SOPHOMORE] / Played in 26 of 31 games during sophomore season in 2006-07 (missed five games due to injuries), starting center in all 26 games played • Averaged 4.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks on the season • Ranked third in Big 12 with 1.6 blocks per game, that average ranked as ninth-best single-season mark in school history • Slowed by various knee and ankle injuries - played in 18 of team[apos]s final 22 games, averaged 17.4 minutes per game in final 18 games played (23.0 mpg through first eight games) • Recorded 18 blocks in last 18 games played (blocked 23 through season[apos]s first eight games before injuries) • Averaged 6.8 rebounds through first eight games, 3.8 over final 18 games • Blocked a career-high six shots in win over Texas Southern (11/20/06) • Health and performance improved late in season - averaged 7.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and shot 58.3 percent over season[apos]s final three games • Had brilliant showing in season finale vs. Texas at Big 12 Championship, totaling career-highs of 14 points and 12 rebounds (first career double-double) as well as two blocks in 30 minutes • Recorded multiple blocks in 11 of 26 games played.

INTERNATIONAL [PRE-BAYLOR] / Would have ranked among top 40 high school players in 2004 signing class nationally if a U.S. player, according to HoopScoop.com • Played for under-20 Senegalese national team in summer of 2004 • Participated in Basketball Without Borders event for Africa[apos]s top 100 NBA prospects, held in South Africa in September 2004, included instruction from current and former NBA stars including Dikembe Mutombo and Malik Rose • Participated in Babacar Sy Basketball School during final two years of high school • Top player at Babacar Sy Basketball School in summer of 2003 • Began playing organized basketball at age 15.
